Men’s Health Matters: Take Charge at Every Age
Your health is one of the most important investments you can make, for yourself and for the people who count on you. Regular urology checkups and preventive screenings can help detect issues early, improve quality of life, and support long-term wellness. Whether you’re in your 20s or your 70s, staying proactive about your health matters.

Why Men Should Prioritize Preventive Urology Care
Many common urologic conditions develop gradually and may not show symptoms right away. Routine appointments with a urology provider can help identify concerns early, including:
- Prostate cancer
- Kidney stones
- Enlarged prostate (BPH)
- Erectile dysfunction
- Low testosterone
- Urinary issues
- Bladder and kidney health concerns
Early detection often means more treatment options and better outcomes.
Many men delay doctor visits until symptoms interfere with daily life. Preventive care works best when appointments are kept consistently, even when you feel healthy.
Regular checkups help:
- Monitor changes over time
- Address concerns early
- Improve long-term health outcomes
- Support overall wellness and quality of life
Your future health depends on the actions you take today.

MEN’S HEALTH CHECKLIST*
It is important to take care of your health, and that starts with understanding your health risks and recommended screenings at each stage of your life. Download the checklist and share it with your father, husband or important friend in your life.

*This is not a full list of recommended screenings. If you are experiencing any of these health issues or others, do not wait until the recommended screening age. Contact your physician to make an appointment.
About 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting men, but when detected early, it is highly treatable.
Screening can help identify prostate cancer before symptoms develop, giving men more options for successful treatment and improved outcomes. Talk with your healthcare provider about:
- Your personal risk factors
- When to begin screening
- How often you should be tested
- The benefits and limitations of PSA testing
Being informed and proactive can save lives.
